The Terminator Salvation is a 115-minute film centered around action and science fiction. It was released in 2009 in America and directed by McG. It is part of the Terminator series r, and it is based on the original Terminator setting where the first story begins. It is also different from the original story that aims to present a different perspective on the Terminator story.
The Terminator salvation focuses on the main characters, Marcus Wright and John Conner. The original main character in Terminator series was John Conner who leads survivors in the Post Apocalypse. However this film more focuses on Marcus who is a mixture between human and robot. It also connects to the originalTerminator series, explaining its backstory.
In the last part of the film (105 min to 110 min), Marcus sacrifices himself to save John by donating his heart to John who had injury on the heart during the fight. At this point, Marcus sacrifices himself for John and the future of humanity, giving his heart to help win the war against the robots. At this point, Marcus has a short conversation with other people who had the conversation before and gives his heart to John. It highlights the irony of Marcus' position, initially seeking information from the human army for the robots.". Also it also presents that even if his body is a robot, he fights for the human part, which his mind is a human, tries to prove that he is in the human part in the entire film. It connects with the message of the film that human’s personality.
