The Taxi Driver focused on the main character, Travis Bickle. It shows the personal background of Travis, who experienced the Vietnam War, and the timeline goes on about Travis. It also points to the specific case of Travis, who tries to commit a crime in New York. The film is not just based on the 1970s historical film, but also the point of Travis's perspective. The fact of the film is the back of the New York street that shows the depth of New York, especially the dark side of New York.
At the end of the film (98 min to 115 min), Travis, the main character, went to the prostitution club and started to murder the managers in the prostitution building. After he murdered managers in the prostitution club, Travis turns his head and describes shooting a gun in his head. It shows his life that he is living, within which he expresses his feeling of being isolated in the middle of society, and shows the feeling to escape from the city where he is living.
